With the formation of Urban Extension Road-2, it will now take just one hour to reach NH-44 from Gurugram and Delhi Airport. The vehicles will run at 100 km speed. There will be no jam anywhere. There will be no breaker or traffic light on the road during the entire journey.
The next day of the inauguration Dainik Bhaskar app The team did the reality check of Ur-2 road ie Ur-2 road. In which the claim to reach Gurugram and Delhi Airport in an hour turned out to be alright. However, an important thing that was not stated is that people will have to loose pockets for easy journey. The toll plaza is about to start on this road, on which the toll will have to be paid from 235 to 350 rupees.
If you come from Sonipat via Bawana come on this road, then you have to pay about 310 rupees to reach Gurugram. In which you will have to pay 75 rupees on Sonipat Spar and then on Bakkarwala.
Before the inauguration on 17 August, PM Narendra Modi visited UER-2.
Know … how was the journey on 75.7 km long Uer-2, where is the toll
- Mundka arrived in half an hour from Bakoli: At 7:30 am on Sunday morning, our team started the journey from National Highway-44 starting point Bakuli (Singhu Border). Reached Mundka in less than half an hour from here. A good road has been built from under the metro station of Mundka Udyog Vihar here.
- Toll plaza in Bakkarwala, board still covered: The toll plaza was welcomed at Bakkarwala as soon as the flyover near Mundka landed. Recovery of toll charges has not started here, but NHAI board has been installed. However, it is still covered. When our team checked, the toll on one side of the car was written at Rs 235 and Rs 350 for the movement.
- Rohtak-Bahadurgarh people do not toll: When he proceeded from Bakkarwala, the junction of Bahadurgarh Spar was found. It was understood here that if someone comes from here from Rohtak-Bahadurgarh to Delhi Airport or Gurugram, then they will not have to give any toll. The toll plaza does not come on the way after climbing Uer Two.
- The tunnel did not see jam: In about 15 minutes from Bakkarwala toll, we reached near Dwarka Expressway Junction. After this we reached Gurugram Tunnel, from which one way goes towards Delhi Airport and the other towards Gurugram. Earlier there was no tunnel here, so there was heavy jam in peak time. Now a tunnel has been made here in Uer-2. After which there is no jam in the tunnel, but from where the traffic comes from Mahipalpur in Delhi towards Gurugram, there was traffic slow.
- Gurugram reached the border in 8 minutes passing through the tunnel: However, we still passed through the tunnel and reached the Rajokari on the Gurugram border in 8 minutes. It took us 1 hour and 10 minutes to reach the Ambience Mall of Gurugram from Bakoli. During this time the speed of the car ranged from 80 to 100 km per hour. By the way, the speed limit on Uer-2 is 100 km/per hour.
- Mild shocks on small joints of the bridge: We also realized that the design of the expressway is such that even the speed does not feel shocks. However, where the bridges come, there are small joints. While climbing the bridge of the car, there is definitely light shaking.
We saw these flaws in the journey Tractor, bikes and auto etc. are not allowed to run on the new expressway. But bikes and three wheelers appeared on the entire expressway. Work is going on at some places and stone barricades are kept. The LED screens that show traffic direction, speed and location have not started yet. CCTVs are also closed. No petrol pump or rest area was found on the entire road. Since it is open, there was not much traffic on the road.
Know … where, who and what will benefit from Uer-2
