This situation will remain in the state for the next 48 hours. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains from August 20 to 24.

People are facing problems due to continuous heavy rains in the hilly state of Uttarakhand. Due to cloudburst in many places, people have to leave their homes and migrate. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in the state for the next 7 days.

Possibility of heavy rains in Odisha and Chhattisgarh
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected on Tuesday in the southern parts of Odisha and Chhattisgarh, while Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Bihar are expected to have continuous heavy rains between 18 and 24 August.

Weather of western India
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to heavy rains in the ghat areas of Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra on August 19, while the Meteorological Department has estimated Gujarat heavy rains on August 19 and 20.
