The NDA has declared Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan as the Vice Presidential candidate. But the opposition alliance ‘India’ has not opened its cards yet and the announcement of the candidate is yet to be done. If sources are to be believed, a common candidate of India Block will field in the upcoming Vice Presidential elections.

Regarding this, the meeting of ‘leaders of all opposition parties’ present in Parliament has been called at 12:30 pm at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. It is expected that after the meeting, the name of the candidate will be officially announced.

Also, a Dalit intellectual from Maharashtra is also being considered as the Vice Presidential candidate of India Block.

Radhakrishnan met PM Modi

NDA Vice Presidential candidate CP Radhakrishnan reached Delhi on Monday. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and several senior BJP leaders were present to welcome him at the airport. His convoy was already ready and he was warmly welcomed during this period. After reaching Delhi, Radhakrishnan also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
