The son of Norway’s princess has been accused of 32 crimes including four rapes. A government lawyer said on Monday that the princess’s son has also been accused of violence and crime related to the attack. Marias Borg Haibi, son of Norway Crown Princess Mete-Marit, was arrested on August 4 last year on suspicion of attacking his girlfriend, after which he is under investigation. Marius was born to a pre -marriage relationship with Princess Marit’s Crown Prince Hakon.
The princess’s son Marius has several allegations in addition to four rape cases, including domestic violence against an X girlfriend and violence with another ex girlfriend, disturbing her life, violating several laws to brut down in her life.
Speaking to the media, government lawyer Sterla Henriquesbo said that he is also accused of making videos without their information or consent of many women.
He said, ‘In the allegations against him, he can be imprisoned for a maximum of 10 years. This is a very serious crime that can have permanent consequences and who can ruin their lives.
‘Princess’s son will be treated like common people’
Henriquesbo stressed, ‘The fact that Marius Borg Haibi is a member of the royal family, it does not mean that they should be treated more lightly or more stringent. As a common man is behaved, they will be done with the same.
The four rapes for which Marius have been accused allegedly took place in 2018, 2023 and 2024, the last rape was after the police investigation started. Marius has already accepted the attack and sabotage in the August 2024 incident, for which he was arrested.
In a public statement 10 days after his arrest, he said that he had done this work drunk with alcohol and cocaine after a dispute. He said that he was suffering from mental troubles and was struggling with drug addiction for a long time.
Marius came into the limelight since the age of four when her mother married Yuvraj of Norway. Yuvraj had two children already.
Marias was raised by the royal couple in association with their half-siblings, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Rajkumar Swara Magnus, who were 21 and 19 years of age respectively. Unlike step-siblings, Marius is not in any public position.
