‘The world is changing, no one -sided decision will go on …’, Chinese Foreign Minister’s Trump came to India’s blunt message – Chinese FM Wang Yi Meets S Jaishankar in Delhi

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who visited India, has said that India-China relations are showing positive trends towards cooperation. He emphasized that both countries should see each other not as rival, but as partners. Wang, who arrived in New Delhi on Monday, made this comment during a meeting with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. During this, he also targeted America and said that unilateral threats and decisions will not be run in the changing world.

His visit is being held before the visit of China to attend the annual summit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). In the meeting, Wang told External Affairs Minister Jaishankar that China-India relations are showing positive trends towards returning to cooperation.

He said that this year is the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and India and a lesson can be learned from the past. His statement is a sign of softening in relations for more than four years after military deadlock in eastern Ladakh (in Galwan Valley).

What else did the Chinese Foreign Minister say on India-China relations?

According to the report of Chinese government news agency Xinhua, he said that it is necessary for both sides to have the right strategic perception, look at each other as partners and opportunities rather than rival or danger and invest their valuable resources in development.

He said that both countries should find the right ways for co-existence, shared development and cooperation with mutual respect and confidence between the neighboring countries of the region.

Wang said that China is ready to work to create a peaceful, safe, prosperous, and friendly world with neighboring countries, including India, to maintain harmony, honesty, mutual gain and the principles of running together, including India.

The Chinese Foreign Minister said that India-China should be confident of each other, should move in the same direction, remove the difficulties, expand cooperation and increase the speed of bilateral relations.

‘Two great civilizations will benefit with cooperation’

He said that this will benefit two great civilizations, which will give stability to Asia and the whole world. According to the report, after talks between Foreign Minister Jaishankar and Wang, the two countries agreed to maintain bilateral relations.

Wang’s visit to India is being seen as an attempt to improve relations between the two countries which is going through a serious tension situation after the Galwan Valley Conflict in 2020.

Chinese Foreign Minister criticized America

Wang has also criticized America in his India tour. Indirectly criticizing America, he said that the world is changing and in the meantime the trend of threatening unilaterally is also increasing, which will not work anymore.

He said that free trade and international system are facing serious challenges, because humanity has reached the important intersection to decide the future direction of the world.

Wang said that as the two largest developing countries with a joint population of more than 2.8 billion, China and India should show a sense of global responsibility, work as large powers, to gain power through unity and set an example for developing countries. He said that India and China should contribute to the multi -polar world and contribute to promoting democratization of international relations.

Meeting Ajit Doval on border dispute issue

He said that both sides are working towards bringing the consensus of their leaders to the ground and are slowly moving towards the talks. The country is working on making peace along the border and together Indian pilgrims are also working towards resumption of pilgrimage of holy mountains and lakes in the Tibet Autonomous region of China.

The Chinese Foreign Minister has mainly visited India for Special Representative (SR) talks on the border issue with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Both Doval and Wang work as special representatives for the border talks systems.

Doval visited China in December last year and held a 23rd round of talks with Wang. A few weeks before this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping met in the city of Kazan, Russia during the BRICS summit. The two leaders had emphasized on improving bilateral relations during this period.
