Delhi Rains: One day break! Delhi -NCR started again in NCR

Today, the rainy season has started in the country’s capital Delhi today, on Tuesday. In Delhi and its surrounding areas, it rained heavily almost the whole week. Then there was some relief on Monday, but after a day’s break, it started raining on Tuesday.

This is also seen in rain not only in Delhi but also in the surrounding areas adjacent to Delhi. However, the Indian Meteorological Department forecast that there is a possibility of rain and thunderstorms in the national capital on Tuesday. With this, the minimum temperature of the city was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius today, which is 0.2 degrees below normal for this time of the year.

According to the Meteorological Department, the relative humidity was around 97 percent at 8.30 am and the maximum temperature is likely to be around 35 degrees Celsius. Let us know that Delhi received such rain in the last one week that heavy waterlogging was seen everywhere. People had to face trouble in movement.

Let us know that in the coming days, the same weather is going to remain in Delhi. However, on August 22 and 23, there is a possibility of more rainfall. On the other hand, there is also a threat of flood in Delhi. Delhi has been shocked by the boom of Yamuna these days. After the rains in the upper areas, the water coming out of Hathinikund barrage has started scaring people in Delhi and below areas.

The water level of Yamuna is increasing so fast that by 8 pm tonight, the water level was estimated to reach the level of 205.77 meters but had reached the level of 205.78 meters at 11 am. However, the Central Water Commission estimates that the water level of Yamuna is less likely to cross 206 meters. Nevertheless, the lower areas of the banks of Yamuna are drowning in this flood water. The work of evacuating people from those areas has also been started.

CM Rekha Gupta herself reached the Yamuna Bazar area to take stock of the danger in the settlements of the shore with the rising water level of Yamuna. There is water coming from the upper barrage behind the increase in the water level of Yamuna, in which 38361 cusecs of water has been released from Hathinikund barrage, besides 68230 cusecs of cusecs from Wazirabad barrage and 91212 cusecs of water from Okhla barrage. It is increasing the flood of Yamuna in the areas below Delhi.
