The action in the Kerala High Court in Kochi had to be stopped due to the smell. This smell was coming from the urine of the sequet (wild animal) entered into the falls sealing of the court.
According to court sources, the smell was so strong that the Division Bench of Chief Justice Nitin Jamdar and Justice Basant Balaji postponed all cases. The court proceedings lasted only 20 minutes and then the room was closed.
Wild animals have been seen earlier in the High Court campus
The Kerala High Court’s presence near Mangla Forest Sanctuary has been a matter of long -term dispute. Earlier, big pythons and other wild animals have been seen around the court premises earlier. For this reason, there has been a demand to remove the High Court from Kochi city to suburb Kalamseri.
Civate is a small wild animal, resembling a cat and is usually found in forests or sanctuaries.
