A book borrowed from San Antonio Public Library has been returned after about 82 years. A letter was also attached with it. It was written in it- Grandma will not be able to give money for this.
According to an AP report, the book is “Your Child, Hiz Family, and Friends” written by marriage and family consultant Frances Bruce Strain. The library said in a press release that the book was taken in July 1943 and came back from an Oregon person in last June.

The cover inside the book was warned that the fine for over -du books would be three cents per day. Except for inflation, the fine will be around $ 900. The library reported that the book is in “good situation”. It will be displayed in the central library of the city till August. After this it will be donated to friends of San Antonio Public Library and will be sold for the benefit of the library.
The name of the book returned after 288 years is record
It may take eight decades to return to a book in a library, but it is not even around the record. According to Guinness World Records, the book of the library, which has been withdrawn for the most time, was returned to Sydney Sussex College, Cambridge, England in 1956. It was borrowed in 1668, about 288 years ago. No penalty was taken on this too.
