A strange case has come to light in Panna district of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, the police issued a challan of Rs 300 to a person walking on foot for not wearing a helmet. After this incident, the victim youth reached the SP office and pleaded for justice and demanded an investigation into the matter and action.
Challan issued to pedestrian
Actually, the victim Sushil Kumar Shukla had gone to Bahadurganj to invite his daughter for her birthday in Ajaygarh, 40 km from Panna district headquarters. While returning, the police stopped him from behind and forcibly made him sit in his car.
According to the report, after this, the policemen threatened him and took him to Ajaygarh police station where they kept him sitting for a long time. When Sushil told the police that he was in a hurry to get the cake cut on his daughter’s birthday, the police wrote down the number of an unknown motorcycle parked there and issued a challan in his name for not wearing a helmet.
Troubled by this incident, Sushil Kumar reached Panna and met the SP and narrated his ordeal. He has demanded an investigation into the matter and action against the guilty police personnel.

Regarding this, Panna SP said that the matter seems half-finished. A young man from Ajaygarh has complained that he was issued a challan while walking. The investigation of this case has been handed over to Ajaygarh SDOP Rajiv Singh Bhadauria.
The Superintendent of Police said that after the completion of the investigation, further action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts come to light. At present, the victim youth Sushil Kumar is waiting for the police investigation to be completed. This incident has become a topic of discussion among the people.
