The Grand Alliance’s Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar reached Ara on Saturday. The journey will rest on Sunday i.e. 31 August. While the voter rights journey will conclude on 1 September in Patna. In Ara, the opposition demonstrated power. Along with Tejashwi Yadav, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav were also present on the stage.
During the visit, the opposition accused the Modi government that democracy is being weakened by cutting the name from the voter list. Akhilesh Yadav said that as the people of Awadh removed the BJP, the people of Magadha will also remove.
The yatra started on August 17 from Sasaram and passing a distance of about 1300 km and passed through 24 districts and 50 assembly constituencies. In this 14-day visit, Rahul Gandhi continuously targeted BJP and PM Modi and appealed to the public to be alert against votes theft.
During the program in Ara, Rahul Gandhi had to bear the opposition of BJP workers, who showed black flags. JDU spokesperson Abhishek Jha said that all this is only an electoral jumla. At the same time, the Leader of the Opposition is presenting it as an attempt to protect the rights of the people.

During the yatra, various leaders and ministers shared the stage and addressed the public. Tejashwi Yadav challenged Nitish Kumar’s government and said that the people of Bihar are ready for change.
According to political analysts, this journey has shown emphasis on the political equation of the opposition and the equation of power. However, NDA is only looking at it as an election strategy. The real examination will now be held in Bihar assembly elections 2025, when the public will decide who will get the right and who will get the way out.
What did Tejashwi Yadav say?
In Ara, Tejashwi Yadav declared himself the Chief Minister’s face of the Grand Alliance. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav were also present in the program organized in Ara. Tejashwi Yadav caught everyone’s attention from his point and launched a scathing attack on Nitish Kumar. He asked the public questioning Nitish Kumar and asked the public whether he wants original chief minister or duplicate?
Minister Neeraj attacked Rahul-Tejasvi
Bihar minister Neeraj Kumar Bablu said that both Rahul and Tejashwi want that a chaotic situation should arise in the state because they know that their base has slipped. Nothing is going to be held in elections. The public is set up and will bring the NDA government again. These people try to spread different kinds of confusion. At first, spread various kinds of confusion in the Lok Sabha, they have not found anything anywhere. After that, now they feel that I am going to be eliminated in the assembly as well, then these people are again doing new gimmicks and abusing the Prime Minister of the nation from the platform by hitting the special community back. This is very sad and worrying. The tongue of such abuser should be cut and sent, because there has been a lot of injustice.
What message did you try to give from the journey?
The India alliance has tried to give many messages simultaneously through this visit in Bihar. The question of Akhilesh sharing the stage with Rahul and Tejashwi arises that the opposition in Bihar has moved from My equation to PDA? Is the focus of the opposition on backward, Dalit and minority – or is it just an exercise to equate?
Is the purpose of the journey fulfilled?
In Ara, Bihar, the opposition together played the bugle against the BJP. But this is not the first bugle in Bihar politics and will not be the last. The real question remains whether this yatra came out for the rights of the public or for the right to politics of the leaders? Or the purpose of traveling against SIR was fulfilled? Will Rahul be able to benefit from the vote theft slogan in Bihar assembly elections?
