Today is the fourth and last day of both quarter -finals of the Duleep Trophy 2025. On the basis of century innings of captain Ankit Kumar and Yash Dhul, North Zone has taken a lead of 563 runs against the East Zone in the Dalip Trophy. At the same time, in another quarter-final match, the Central Zone has given a target of 679 runs to the North-East Zone to win.
On the third day of the match on Saturday, North Zone has scored 388 runs for two wickets in the second innings. Captain Ankit Kumar (168 runs) returned unbeaten, Ayush Badoni (56 runs) is supporting him. Yash Dhul was dismissed for 133 runs. In the second match, the Central Zone declared the second innings on a score of 331/7 and targeted the North-East Zone 679 runs.

1. North Zone vs East Zone
Ankit-Dhul’s century, North Zone score 388/2 North Zone started the second innings today. But the team lost the first wicket on the score of 54 runs. Here opener Shubham Khajuria was dismissed for 21 runs. He was bowled by Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal.
After losing the first wicket early, captain Ankit Kumar took the front with Yash Dhul. Both shared a 240 -run partnership for the second wicket.
Yash Dhul (133 runs) was lbw by Ryan Parag on the score of 294 runs. In such a situation, Ayush Badoni played an innings of 56 runs and helped to deliver his team’s score to 388/2 on stumps.
First bowler to take 4 wickets on 4 balls in Nabi Dalip Trophy Friday Aqib Nabi became the first bowler to take 4 wickets off 4 balls in this tournament. Aqib, a resident of Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, took three wickets from the last three balls of the 53rd over. He caught Suraj Jaiswal at the hands of wicketkeeper Kanhaiya Wadhawan for 10 runs.
