For this two -day visit, Prime Minister Modi has been provided with China’s prestigious “Made in China” Hongqi car. This is the same car that President Xi Jinping uses on his official tours.

The Hongqi L5 car is also known as “Red Flag” and it was also used by Xi Jinping during a meeting with PM Modi in Mahabalipuram in 2019. This car is considered a replicative car of China. PM Modi is using this Hongqi car during his visit to China.

The car is made by Russia’s automobile company Aurus Motors and is equipped with retro-style luxury features. During this time his car has been given the Chinese diplomatic number plate.

Bilateral talks between PM Modi and Xi Jinping

During the summit, an important bilateral meeting was also held between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping. In the conversation, Xi Jinping said that “Dragon and Elephant should come together and become friends.”
