Ayush Badoni (Ayush Badoni) remained unbeaten on 204 off 223 balls while Kanhaiya Wadhawan remained unbeaten after scoring 23 runs. Taking full advantage of the North Zone’s decision to continue batting, Badoni completed the second double century of the first class career. Captain Ankit Sharma missed out on completing the double century by two runs. The team declared the innings after the completion of the double century of Badoni. Badoni hit 13 fours and three sixes while Sindhu hit two fours and five sixes. In the first innings, North -region bowler Aaqib Nabi, who took five wickets including a hat -trick, was adjudged Man of the Match. After the match draw, the captain of the north region Ankit said, ‘If we wanted, we could have gone for the result. We did not try due to the lead in the first innings. We also wanted to keep Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana (before the Asia Cup) as much as possible.
