Mughalsarai Kotwali police of Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh has exposed a large gang of Ashala smugglers. Police arrested two vicious criminals of this gang and recovered huge amount of illegal weapons from them. Among the arrested miscreants, one is from Varanasi and the other from Ghazipur. Both have many serious cases including murder, Ashala smuggling and Gangster Act.
According to the information, the names of the arrested accused are Roshan Yadav resident Mohammadabad (Ghazipur) and Rohit Yadav resident Chetganj (Varanasi). Both these crooks were wanted for a long time in the eyes of the police. On his arrest, the police had declared a reward of 50-50 thousand rupees. Police investigation has revealed that both criminals have been involved in not only arms smuggling but also in serious cases like murder.

In fact, on July 21, gym operator and businessman Arvind Yadav was roasted with bullets in Dharna village of Mughalsarai police station area. Nine accused had been arrested in this sensational murder case till now, while Roshan and Rohit were away from the police’s grip. Both have been directly involved in the conspiracy and incident of murder. Police and surveillance teams were constantly raiding in search of them.
According to SP Chandauli Aditya Langhe, the police received information that some weapons smugglers are present in the Mughalsarai police station area. After this, both the prize miscreants were caught near the GTR Bridge. During the search, seven pistols, three pistols and seven live cartridges were recovered from them. The police was also surprised by getting such a large amount of real quantity.
The arrested miscreants are young and they look innocent to see, but their criminal history is very long. In the police records, there are several cases registered against them under murder, robbery, Ashala smuggling and Gangster Act. The SP said that both the crooks were not only involved in crime but were also connected to the network of real smugglers.
At present, the police have sent both of them to jail and action is being taken against them in strict sections including the Gangster Act. Police say that other criminals and arms supply chains in contact with them are also being investigated. This action of Chandauli police has shocked the network of Ashala smugglers active in the area.
