‘Opportunity to get photographed, not the color of the jacket …’, Asaduddin Owaisi said on PM Modi-Jinping meeting

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has given a statement about the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday (August 31, 2025). He has termed the meeting of PM Modi and Xi Jinping as completely failed. He said that the questions of which the people of India were looking for the answers did not get their answers from this meeting.

Asaduddin Owaisi shared a post on the social media platform X on Sunday (August 31, 2025) on the meeting of PM Modi and Xi Jinping. In the post, Owaisi said, “The meeting of the Prime Minister of India today with the President of China has failed to answer the important questions that Indians were looking for.”

What did Owaisi say about PM Modi and Xi Jinping meeting,

AIMIM Chief said, ‘In this list, the question of China’s support for Pakistan during Operation Sindoor and expanding CPEC in Afghanistan is at the top. We have not heard even a word even after sharing the river data related to hydrology towards China. The border situation in Ladakh is such that our brave soldiers cannot patrol in buffer zone and after 2020 our shepherds are not allowed to go to many areas. In addition, China has not made any promise about resumping the supply of rare soil and other important items. Nor has he said that he will import more goods from India. These are the issues that matter to Indians, not the opportunity to be photographed, the color of the jacket or the length of the carpet. It is sad that Modi-Ki Jinping meeting failed to find a solution on concrete issues.

In bilateral meeting, PM Modi discussed many issues with Jinping

According to the statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping held bilateral talks before the SCO summit.
