The Punjab Police arrested two Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorists on Sunday, achieving a major success. This success was achieved in joint action of Counter Intelligence Pathankot, Ludhiana and State Special Campaign Cell Amritsar.

Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said that the arrested terrorists have been identified as Saravan Kumar, resident of Malhian village in Gurdaspur and Balwinder Singh, resident of Jakkaria. Three live cartridges, including an organ hand grenade and a .30 bore star Mark Pistol, have been recovered from both.

Initial investigation has revealed that both the accused were working on the instructions of BKI -backed bosses sitting abroad. A middleman connected them to the masters. Earlier, four members of this network were arrested by the Pathankot police. These also included two teenagers. Two .30 bore star Mark Pistol was recovered from them. The police also thwarted a target killing. The police have registered the case. The search for other members associated with this network continues.
