New Delhi. The 13th match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025 was played between Rangpur Riders and Fortune Barishal. In this match, due to the mistake of the non-striker during the batting of Rangpur Riders, the striker had to be given out. This incident happened in the last over, when the Riders needed 39 runs from 12 balls. Noorul Hasan, standing at the non-striker’s end, obstructed the field.
Jahandad Khan, who was bowling in the 19th over, gave the fourth ball to Mehdi Hasan at the right place. Right-handed batsman Mahedi tried to hit a big shot, but the ball hit the edge of the bat and fell in the middle of the pitch. Nurul, standing on the non-striker, started running towards the ball. In such a situation, the bowler tried to take the catch but after colliding with Nurul he could not take the catch.
