Donors who gave millions of dollars for the program have currently been put on the waitlist because tickets for all the programs have been sold out. Still, there is competition among those who donate. According to the Daily Mail, donors are sending money for the program. So far, 170 million dollars i.e. Rs 14,60,66,12,500 have been sent to the committee for the program and this figure is expected to reach 200 million dollars. This amount is three times more than Joe Biden’s swearing-in ceremony; in 2020, only $62 million was donated to his event.
