When I was talking about Sonamarg Tunnel, along with Sonamarg, the life of the people of Kargil and Leh has also become easier. Now during snowfall, the problem of avalanches and landslides will be less. When the roads were closed, it was difficult to travel. The actual construction of Sonamarg Tunnel had started only after our government was formed at the Centre. We are happy that we have also laid the foundation stone for this.

 The tunnel will also maintain the connectivity of Sonamarg in this winter season. With this, tourism is also going to get new wings. In the coming days, work is also going on on road and rail connectivity. Now Kashmir Valley is also connected by rail. There is an atmosphere of tremendous happiness regarding this also.
