A young man shot a girl in a restaurant in Tikamgarh. The girl was taken to the district hospital in critical condition. Where after first aid he was referred to Jhansi.

The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon at around 2.30 pm. The 23-year-old girl was sitting with 24-year-old Kapil Tiwari in a restaurant located on Civil Line Road. During the conversation they had an argument and Kapil opened fire. The bullet hit the girl in the chest.
The people present at the spot caught Kapil and handed him over to the police. The police seized the country-made pistol and took him into custody.
Argument over marriage SP Manohar Mandloi said, ‘Preliminary investigation has revealed that there was a love affair between the two. There was no communication between both of them for some days. Regarding this, Kapil had called the girl to meet. During this time there was an argument regarding marriage. After this, the accused shot the girl in the chest with a 315 bore country-made pistol.
The injured girl was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
People gathered at the police station As soon as information about the incident was received, SP Manohar Mandloi reached the district hospital with the police force and met the family of the victim. On the other hand, people of Jain community gathered in large numbers in the Kotwali premises. Seeing the situation, additional police force was deployed around the police station.
The girl has been referred from Tikamgarh to Jhansi in critical condition.
First aid done in ICU At Tikamgarh District Hospital, Dr. Dinkar Rathore told that there was a black colored round mark on the left side of the girl, which we call a gun shot. A large amount of blood was lost. He was admitted to ICU. After primary treatment, senior doctors referred him to Jhansi for better treatment.
The accused Kapil Tiwari has been taken into custody by the police.
Eyewitness said- It sounded like a firecracker. The woman working in the restaurant said, ‘The young man and the girl came from the back gate and sat in the restaurant. Ordered chow mein. Started talking. Suddenly there was a sound like a firecracker. When I came out, I saw that the girl had been shot.
I asked the police to call. By then people had gathered there and they caught the young man.
