Thousands of people took to the streets and attacked the police in order to recognize Palestine as a nation in Milan, Italy. The Prime Minister of Italy has said not to tolerate such people. Meanwhile, the number of countries recognizing Palestine as a nation in the United Nations is increasing. Many NATO countries like France, Britain, Canada, Australia have also recognized Palestine. India recognized Palestine in the year 1988 itself.
