The railway will run 12,000 special trains, in view of the festivals of Diwali and Chhath Puja, Indian Railways have made special arrangements for the convenience and security of the passengers. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 7,500 special trains were run last year, while this year, these numbers will be increased to about 12,000 trains.
