The Congress party is going to meet the Central Executive Committee (CWC) for the first time after independence in Bihar. This meeting will be held on Wednesday at Sadaqat Ashram in the capital Patna. The Congress is expecting to repeat its success in Telangana assembly elections through this meeting. In Telangana too, the party had a meeting of CWC before the election in 2023 and after that there was a big impact there.

Major leaders of Congress like party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and almost all the party will attend this meeting. In this meeting, issues like preparations for Bihar assembly elections, transparency in elections, irregularities in special inspection (SIR) of voter role and freedom of Election Commission will be the main subjects of discussion.

At the same time, the party will also talk about major problems like inflation, unemployment, atrocities against women and diplomatic failures with Bihar.

According to sources, in this meeting, Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra will be appreciated, which focused on the investigation of vote theft and voter list in Bihar. Rahul traveled in Bihar for 16 days in Bihar and traveled in 25 districts. The party will also launch a ‘household rights campaign’ to prevent votes theft in its stronghold and to provide voter rights to the people.

This is the first time that the country is getting such a big Congress meeting in Bihar after independence from British rule, last time it was held in 1940. Sadakat Ashram is a historic place where leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Rajendra Prasad and Nehru formulated a strategy of freedom struggle.

Kanres is preparing to participate strongly in Bihar assembly elections through this meeting and get power to the grand alliance. Elections in Bihar will be held in the coming months, and the Election Commission can announce in early October.

Let us know that the Congress party has not announced yet how many assembly seats it will contest. On the other hand, the Rashtriya Janata Dal involved in the Grand Alliance has made it clear that it will contest all the 243 seats. Now it will be interesting to see how many seats the Congress announces to contest.
