Thieves committed the crime by cutting the grill
The incident took place in Vikas Nagar in Lucknow, where the house of IPS officer Yamuna Prasad was targeted. On the evening of 22 September, the thieves entered the house after cutting the back window grill.
At present, IPS officers are posted as DCP in Noida and live there with their family. His relative Asit Siddharth was overseeing this house. When he opened the house on 23 September, the theft was detected. ₹ 50,000 cash, silver coins, and other valuables have been stolen from the house.
Thieves also took tricks with precious goods
The thieves completely investigated the rooms and shelves of the house. Stolen goods include 10 silver coins, 2 glasses, 2 bowls, 3 wrist clocks, 2 wall clocks, and about 20 tricks. Apart from this, many gift items are also missing. It seems that the thieves committed the theft with comfort. Police reached the spot and started investigation and registered an FIR.
