After the monsoon in India, the cold weather is going to knock soon. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that by the end of September, the monsoon will go away from the country and after that, the cold weather will start showing its effect from the month of October.
According to the IMD, there will be major changes in the weather in different parts of the country including Delhi-NCR in October. The effect of cold will start appearing in the entire North India region including Delhi-NCR. At the same time, there is a possibility of fog in Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab and snowfall in the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Delhi-NCR may fall in temperature at night
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is also a possibility of rain in many states of the country during this period. Talking about Delhi-NCR, the average temperature can be from 30 to 34 degrees Celsius in the first week of October, while the minimum temperature can be around 18 to 22 ° C.
Fog will increase Delhi-NCR Trouble in
At the same time, IMD has also said that cold winds will also start running in many areas of NCR including Delhi, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad from mid -October. This will make the feeling of cold in the morning and evening in Delhi-NCR. The IMD warned that by the end of October, dense fog will start in the entire NCR area.
Snowfall in hilly areas, temperature will fall in plains
The IMD has said that in October, the temperature in mountainous states of North India like Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh is expected to be between 5 and 15 degrees Celsius, which can also cause light snowfall in these areas. Whereas in the plains of North India including Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, the temperature can be 28 to 32 degrees in the day and 15 to 20 degrees at night.
Alert issued on rain in many states
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka in South India. At the same time, an alert has been issued regarding moderate rainfall in West Bengal, Odisha and North Eastern states in the eastern part.
