Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Friday in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly that Pakistan is ready to communicate with India, composite and result on all pending issues. During this, he also raised the Kashmir issue and criticized the policies of India.

Addressing the session of the United Nations General Assembly, Shahbaz Sharif also mentioned ‘Operation Sindoor’ and claimed that 7 Indian aircraft were damaged during a 4 -day struggle in May. However, last month, Air Chief Marshal Amarpreet Singh had said that Indian aircraft killed 5 Pakistani fighter jets and a large aircraft during ‘Operation Sindoor’.

According to a report by news agency PTI, Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan believes in a peaceful solution to disputes through dialogue and diplomacy. He said that this is the most honest and serious proposal before the world community on his behalf. Pakistan is ready for overall, comprehensive and result negotiations with India on all pending issues.

In his address, Shahbaz Sharif appreciated US President Donald Trump and said that his efforts helped avoid war in South Asia. He said that Pakistan has nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize in honor of President Trump’s contribution in increasing peace in our region. He said that we could at least do so much, I think he is truly a symbol of peace.

Earlier, Shahbaz Sharif visited Washington DC on Thursday, where he met Trump at the White House with Field Marshal Asim Munir. During this, Shahbaz Sharif described Trump as ‘Shanti Purush’. Also appreciated his courageous and decisive leadership in organizing a ceasefire between Pakistan and India. However, India has already made it clear that India had never accepted, nor accepts anyone’s arbitration, nor will it ever.

Shahbaz also mentioned India’s decision to postpone the Indus Water Treaty in the context of the Pahalgam terror attack. He said that any violation of the Indus Treaty for us is equal to the action of war i.e. the Act of War. As Pakistan does every year, Sharif also raised the issue of Kashmir in his address.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the people of Pakistan are with the people of Kashmir. He believes that Kashmir will get its fundamental right to self -determination through a fair referendum under the United Nations.
