Team India Snatched Victory From Sri Lanka in Super Over: India defeated Sri Lanka in the Super Over and hit a win in the Asia Cup 2025. This is India’s 23rd win over Sri Lanka in T20 while Pakistan is at number one with 24 wins on New Zealand. After the victory, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav said that he felt that he was playing the final match. Pathum Nisanka was adjudged Player of the Match. The award was given to the player of the team that lost for the first time in this tournament.

Super Opar was named after Arshdeep Singh
The super over was completely in the name of Arshdeep who took two wickets for two runs in five balls. India got a target of three runs which captain Suryakumar Yadav achieved on the first ball.
