During the rainy days, after the boom in the drain of Morcha village of Kumbhalgarh (Rajsamand), studies used to come to a standstill. This time arrangements were made to teach children in the verandah of the crematorium.
The picture seen above is from Morcha village of Kumbhalgarh in Rajsamand. These children are not studying in the cremation ground but not any school. The reason is that the sewer flowing between the Bhilwara government school and the township.

During the rainy days, the drain flows with full speed. The rain water of the entire Kumbhalgarh comes in this drain. Due to not having a culvert, not only the children are afraid of crossing the drain.
Children’s studies were interrupted every year during the three months of rain. This time it should not happen, so school teachers talked to the people of the township to teach the children here. The people of the township expressed consent and happiness on this, but now the problem came out where to teach the children?
Because all the houses of the township are raw. Can not teach even sitting under the tree in the rain. The same firm construction was seen near the township and that was the verandah of the crematorium. The people of the township agreed and the children’s studies started here.
Teacher Dinesh Bairwa said that he has been teaching children in the verandah of the crematorium for 3 months.
Teachers go to school by teaching children in cremation Dinesh Bairwa, teacher of Bhilwara School of Faraut, said- There is a nomination of 38 children in our school up to fifth. Of these, 15 children live here and 23 children from the big drain of Morcha village. Apart from me in school, Nathu Singh teaches children. Nathu Singh’s house is in Morcha village and my house is in Dhoran village 5 km away. I have been posted here since the year 2018. Since then, both of them crossed the drain in three months of rain and reached school.
Children’s houses are 200 meters from the crematorium. It was selected for studies due to the closure of the nearest manufacture crematorium.
When the water in the drain intensified, the children living in Bhil Basti could not reach the school, due to which we used to give them homework from house to house. As soon as it started raining this year, we had already talked to the people of the township to teach children. When the villagers agreed, they started studying here. I started teaching in the verandah of the cremation ghat and teacher Nathu Singh in the school.
Teachers come to school after teaching Dinesh Bairwa told that after teaching here from 7:30 am to 1 in the morning, I crossed the drain and would go to school half a kilometer away and would come to the school with the presence of my and children. On August 30, ACBEO Shankar Lal Nagda came to inspect. Here, by looking at the water of the drain, he instructed that as long as the flow of water is fast, neither the children have to cross the drain nor we have to cross the drain. Due to this, three days of school had to be discharged for three days.
Dinesh Bairwa is a teacher from 2018 and Nathu Singh has been here since 1999.
Nutrition is not coming for the last one month. In such a situation, Meera Bai Vaishnav of the village brings milk to the crematorium at seven thirty in the morning and gives it to the children. Nutrition was made here on a person from the village during heavy rains.
Complaint on the contact portal, no response came Teacher Dinesh said- About 4 years ago, a complaint was filed on the contact portal. The panchayat wrote about it to the concerned department, but no response was received from there yet.

No option, so the cremation chose Shashi Bai Rajput, Anganwadi assistant living in Basti, told- My children study in Bhilwara school of Pharit. Children are unable to cross the drain due to water coming. Due to this, teachers teach in the verandah of the crematorium. After talking to the teacher, people from all over the township agreed to teach there. It was a matter of fear that the children are growing up playing around here. Due to this, they are not afraid to come here.
The houses of all people in the township are raw. Due to this, there was no arrangement to teach in the township.
CBEO said- there will be no inconvenience if the culvert or road is corrected Regarding the school, CBEO Nutan Prakash Joshi said- The matter has come to our notice. If the work of the culvert and road is completed correctly, then the children will not be inconvenienced in movement. I will also talk to higher officials in the case.
