Varai casserole
Ingredients:
200 grams Varai (Bhagar/Samak Rice)
10 grams of green chillies
20 grams peanuts
20 grams of cashew
20 grams almonds
30 grams pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
1 teaspoon rock salt
350 ml milk
40 ml ghee
How to make:
1. Put Varai (Samak Rice) in a fine sieve and wash it thoroughly with running water. Then remove the water and keep it aside.
2. Heat ghee on medium heat in a pan. Add green chillies, peanuts, almonds and cashews to it and fry till it becomes light golden.
3. Now add washed Varai and half a teaspoon of rock salt. Then add milk and mix lightly.
4. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low flame for about 10 minutes, until the grains become soft and the milk does not dry completely.
5. After this, turn off the gas and leave it for 5 minutes. Then with the help of a fork, lightly inflate the casserole. Serve by adding pomegranate seeds and chopped dry fruits.
Bell sherbat
Ingredients:
1 cooked vine fruit
1 Passion Fruit
20 ml fresh lemon juice
25 ml raw honey syrup
How to make:
1. First take out the pulp of vine and passion fruit.
2. Add pulp, lemon juice and honey syrup to a shaker (or lid large jar).
3. Add ice to it and stir well.
4. Now filter this mix and put it in a long glass filled with snow. Decorate with a piece of lemon or mint leaves from the top and serve a cool-cold.
