The US has announced the cancellation of visa of Colombia President Gustavo Petro. The Petro attended a Pro-P-Filistine rally in New York on Friday and appealed to American soldiers not to obey President Donald Trump. The US State Ministry posted on X and said that this step has been taken due to the “irresponsible and inflammatory actions” of the Petro.
Addressing the protesters outside the UN headquarters, the Petro said that the Palestinians should become a global armed force to liberate the Palestinians, which is bigger than the US. He appealed to American soldiers, “Do not obey Trump’s orders, obey humanity orders.”

Petro, who is the first leftist President of Colombia, has been a critic of Israel and America in a long time in the Gaza war. Even during his address at the United Nations General Assembly this week, he accused Trump of being a “colleague of genocide” in Gaza and said that criminal action should be taken for the US missile attacks.

On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu targeted Western countries at the General Assembly on Friday and said that recognizing Palestine is like “promoting terrorism”.
