In the festive season, a special train has been announced for passengers, which will run from Gujarat to Bihar. Railways said that during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja Festival season, Western Railway has decided to run the weekly festival special train between Sabarmati-Patna and Rajkot-Barauni on special rent, keeping in mind the convenience of passengers.
Train No. 09427/09428 Sabarmati-Patna-Sarmati Weekly Special (18 Ferre) Train No. 09427 Sabarmati-Patna Special will depart from Sabarmati from 01 October 2025 to 26 November 2025 from Sabarmati at 18:10 pm and reach Patna at 01:00 on the third day. Similarly, train number 09428 Patna-Sarmati Special Special Special 03 will depart from Patna at 04:40 pm from October 2025 to 28 November 2025 and will reach Sabarmati at 09:55 pm the next day.
In both directions, this train will stop at Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Marwar, Ajmer, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Achnera, Idgah, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Ara and Danapur. This train will have AC 3-Tier (Humsafar) category coaches.
Train Number 09569/09570 Rajkot-Barauni-Rajkot (Weekly) Special (18 Ferre) Train No. 09569 Rajkot-Barauni Special will depart from Rajkot at 17.00 hrs from 02 October 2025 to 27 November 2025 at 17.00 hrs and reach Barauni at 05.00 pm on the third day. Similarly, the train number 09570 Barauni-Rajkot Special will depart from Barauni at 14.40 pm from 04 October 2025 to 29 November 2025 and will reach Rajkot at 04.40 on the third day.
This train route in both directions Vankaner, Surendranagar, Chandlodia-B, Mahesana, Palanpur, Aburod, Falna, Marwar, Beawar, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Idgah, Tundla, Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pandit Dayal Upadhyay, Buxyay, Ara, Danapur, Pataliputra, Sonpur, Hajipur and Shahpur will stay at Patori stations. This train will have AC 2-tier and AC 3-tier category coaches.
