TVK Vijay Rally Updates: BJP leader Annamalai surrounded DMK government on Karur accident

BJP’s Tamil Nadu chief K Annamalai has made serious allegations against the DMK government on the stampede incident in Karur. He has described this incident as painful.
Annamalai said, ‘The news of losing about 40 people, including children, is deeply shocked and saddened by the stampede at the meeting of Tamilga Vattri Kazagam leader Vijay in Karur. Many other people are injured and hospitalized.
He has urged the Government of Tamil Nadu to ensure proper treatment for all the affected. He has also expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased.
The BJP leader, while criticizing the lack of security system, said, “It is the responsibility of the police for any political party’s meeting to correctly estimate the number of people present, according to him, select the appropriate place and deploy adequate police force.”
Annamalai also said that there has also been a report of power failure during Vijay’s meeting. He said that it is highly condemnable for the Tamil Nadu government and the police to work in this way.
