India’s space program is going to touch a new height. ISRO has prepared a human -like robot with an AI named Vyommitra for the Gaganyaan Mission. Vyomamitra’s name is made up of Sanskrit ‘Vyom’ (sky) and ‘friend’ (friend). This robot will be launched in December 2025 with a humanless Gaganyaan G1 Capsule. Vyomamitra will act like a human being. Will check the mission. This will be India’s largest space test.
What is Vyommitra?
Vyommitra has been created by ISRO’s ISRO Unit (IISU). It has been handed over to ISRO’s Human Spaceflight Center, running the Gaganyaan Mission. This is half a human robot – it has robotic heads, torso and arm, but the feet do not work. It is designed for microgravity.

What will Vyommitra do?
