Bihar Staff Selection Commission 2025: Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released the official notification for the Second Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination 2025. If you want to apply for this post, then you can apply by visiting the official website bssc.bihar.gov.in.

The registration process for this post will start from October 15, 2025 and will close on November 27, 2025. The last date for submission of examination fee is 25 November, 2025. The Commission said that now the total vacancies of intermediate level have been increased to 23,175, in which 10,976 new posts have been included. This decision has been taken after the demand of 65 departments/offices of Bihar.

Candidates should pass intermediate (class 12) or equivalent from any institute or board recognized under the Government of India/State Government. They should also have technical/senior qualification for the applied posts.

By 1 August 2025, the age of the candidates should be minimum 18 years. The maximum age limit for different categories is as follows:

  • Unreserved men: 37 years
  • Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes: 40 years
  • Unreserved woman: 40 years
  • SC/ST: 42 years
  • Divyang candidate: 10 years discount in maximum age limit.

Which document will be required
While submitting the online application, candidates will have to submit the following documents.

  • Class 10 or matriculation mark and original certificate.
  • Class 12 or intermediate marksheed and original certificate.
  • Marks and original certificate for typing/computer knowledge.
  • Permanent residence certificate.
  • Caste certificate.
  • Disability Certificate.
  • Certificate regarding exemption in upper age limit.
  • No Objection Certificate.

How will the selection
Candidates will have to first take a preliminary examination which will be of objective nature. It will have a total of 150 questions, each of which will be of 4 marks. It will also have negative marks, in which 1 digit will be deducted for each wrong answer. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours 15 minutes and the medium of language in the preliminary examination will be Hindi/English. Passed candidates will appear in the main examination.
