Fed up with harassment in Etawah, the clerk gave his life, a case filed on 5 including President -Jyoti Gupta – Etawah Clerk Suicide Case LCLK

Clerk Rajiv Yadav, working in Etawah Municipality of UP, gave his life upset in the office. According to the information, Rajiv Yadav took this deadly step due to the persistent harassment and mental pressure and jumped into the Yamuna River. After about 30 hours of continuous effort, the SDRF team recovered their body from the river.

After the incident, the suicide note of the deceased came to light in which Etawah Municipality President Jyoti Gupta, her husband and former president of the municipality, Kuldeep Gupta alias Santu, Executive Officer Santosh Kumar Mishra and two other retired employees are registered.

Rajiv Yadav wrote in his note that he was very upset with the oppression of these people and is taking this step under compulsion. He also pleaded for justice from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

The police have registered a case against the five accused on the Tahrir of the deceased’s son Siddharth Yadav. A case has been registered against them in relevant sections including sections 108, 352 and 351 (2) of the Indian Code (BNS).

On this matter, the deceased’s son Siddharth Yadav said, ‘I want my father to get justice, the five people whose names he has written, should be arrested immediately. Because of these my father gave his life. They should be sentenced to death.

However, no officer’s statement has been revealed on this matter yet. The administrative staff of the district is silent. This case related to the municipality has raised serious questions on the administration as to why a government employee had to commit suicide after continuously suffering.
