India has criticized Pakistan as it has Foreign Minister S.K. Jayashankar reacted to the speech on terrorism in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), although Pakistan was not directly named. India called it a long -time acceptance by Pakistan to terrorism from across the border.
In his speech in UNGA on Saturday, Jaishankar said without naming Pakistan that the source of main international terrorist attacks is the same country. He said that India has faced the threat of terrorism since independence. After this, in the evening, the representative of Pakistan alleged under the Right of Reply that India is trying to slander Pakistan, while Jaishankar did not name any country. Pakistan called it an attempt to deliberately spread lies.

India said in response that it is important that a neighboring country who did not name, yet responding is accepting its old practice of terrorism across the border. Rentala Srinivas, the second secretary of India’s permanent mission, said that Pakistan’s credibility speaks itself and its terrorism is impact not only in the neighboring countries but in the whole world.

Jaishankar in his speech urged the international community to clearly condemn the countries that promote terrorism as a state policy. He emphasized the need to prevent the financing of terrorism and ban major terrorists. Jaishankar said that India brought terrorists into the dock for the safety of its people, for example, showing the killing of innocent tourists in Pahalgam in April. The representative of Pakistan tried to react again, but Srinivas of India left the hall.
