A video is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which the water leakage is clearly visible in the coach of AC local train called the lifeline of Mumbai. This video has been posted by Advocate Ashish Rai, who himself was traveling in the same train.
On Saturday night, the water leakage started in AC Local, which left Andheri on Saturday night, due to which the passengers faced a lot of trouble. According to Advocate Ashish, passengers had to change their seats due to water fall and many people felt uncomfortable during the journey. He has also complained about this incident to Western Railway.
Now the response of Western Railway has come out on the matter. Railway officials said that the concerned rake has been identified as Unit No. 7013-7016. This rake has been continuously running on the line since Sunday morning and no complaints of any kind have been filed so far. Despite this, taking the complaint of the passengers seriously, the rake will be investigated and necessary corrective steps will be taken. Railways have also regretted the inconvenience caused to passengers.
