Russia on Sunday launched a big attack on Ukraine with drones and missiles, killing at least four people. The attack was targeted by the capital Kiev. This is the first major attack after the death of at least 21 people in the air strike on Kiev last month.

Taimur Takchenko, head of Kiev City Administration, confirmed the casualties through Telegram on Sunday and said that 10 others were injured in this attack targeting the residential areas of the city. Ukraine’s Air Force said on Sunday that Russia fired a total of 595 explosive drones and fake weapons and 48 missiles. Of these, the air defense system killed or blocked 566 drones and 45 missiles. In addition to Kiev, Ukrainian President Woldimir Jailonsky said the bombing targeted the areas of Zaporizia, Khamelnitski, Sumi, Mycolive, Chernihiiva and Odessa. According to Jailonsky, at least 40 people have been injured across the country.
Jailonsky appeals to pressurize
Jailonsky said that this disgusting attack took place at the conclusion of the United Nations General Assembly Week and Russia expresses its true position in this way. Moscow wants to continue fighting and murders, and this requires the most stringent pressure from the world.
Ivan Fedorov, the regional head of Japorijia, said that three children were among the 27 people injured in the area. He said that more than two dozen buildings have been damaged in the area capital.
Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly, Russian External Affairs Minister Sergei Lavarov told the world leaders on Saturday that his country does not intend to attack Europe, but a decisive reply to any attack will be given.
Hospital and school also targeted
According to Kiev’s Mayor Vitsko Clitsko, the attacks, which started at night and on Sunday, were also targeted in residential buildings, civil infrastructure, a medical facility and a kindergarten. He also informed that losses are reported in more than 20 places in the capital.

Ukraine threatened with retaliation

According to the Polish armed forces, military reactions also started in neighboring Poland after this attack, where fighter aircraft were deployed after attacking the hideouts in western Ukraine on Sunday morning. Polish military officials have justified these defensive measures.
Ukraine deal with America
Recently international concerns have increased that this fight can spread even beyond Ukraine’s borders as European countries have reprimanded Russia for provoking action. These incidents include Russian drones landing on Poland’s land and entering Russian fighter aircraft in Estonian airspace. Russia refused to enter the Estonian airspace of its aircraft and said that none of its drones targeted Poland.
The latest bombing was announced by President Volodimir Jailonsky on Saturday for a mega deal for purchase of arms from America. This package of US $ 90 billion includes a large arms agreement and a separate drone deal for drones made in Ukraine, which the US will buy directly.
