A major accident was averted on Sunday at Amreli Airport in Gujarat. During the pilot training, a mini aircraft slipped and moved to the shore while landing on the runway. The aircraft has been damaged, but it is a matter of relief that no casualties were reported in it.
According to eyewitnesses, the aircraft suddenly became unbalanced during landing and left the runway and trapped the shore. A video of this incident has also surfaced, in which the aircraft can be seen slipping and going out of the runway.
The incident was confirmed by Amreli Collector Option Bhardwaj. He said that the aircraft has been damaged, but there was no loss of life.
Sources claim that the incident happened in the afternoon and the pilot training center initially tried to hide it. However, the investigation of the case was started as soon as the local administration got the information.
Even before this, a mini plane has crashed in Amreli. This new incident has again raised questions on the security and training system of the airport.
