In Tamil Nadu, a case of non-Irradatan homicide has been registered against two top leaders of Tamil Nadu Vetri Vestri Kazhagam (TVK), the party of Tamil Nadu Vijay. Among the top leaders of TVK against whom a case has been registered, N., considered very close to party chief Vijay,. Anand’s name is also included. This action was taken after a rally in Karur district of Tamil Nadu, in which 40 people were killed and around 100 people were injured in a stampede.
N. Anand is the General Secretary of Tamil Nadu Varya Kazhagam (TVK) and former MLA from Puducherry. Anand has been an MLA from Bassi seat of Puducherry Assembly, so he is also known as Bassi Anand. In the party, Anand is given the status of number-2 after Chief Vijay.

The police have registered a case against the accused in this case under the sections of the Indian Justice Code, in which non-Iradatan homicide, negligence or careless is related to endangering human life and disregarding the order issued by the public servant. Apart from this, he has also been booked under the Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Los) Act.
Government of Tamil Nadu Tvk Target on Chief Vijay
The DMK -led state government in Tamil Nadu has targeted TVK Chief Vijay over this incident. The government has alleged that security guidelines were violated in their rally, due to which this terrible accident occurred.
State government sources said that the organizers had not made proper arrangements for drinking water and food during the rally, due to which many people fainted in the crowd.
