Trump demands ceasefire
In his formal address to the United Nations, Trump opposed giving unilateral recognition to the Palestinian state and he described such efforts as a reward for Hamas and reiterated his call for ceasefire and the end of the war.
He insisted, ‘It seems that someone is trying to recognize the Palestinian state unilaterally to promote continuous struggle. Doing so Hamas terrorists will have a huge reward for their atrocities.
Trump refrained from the criticism of Israel, calling Hamas a barrier to ceasefire talks and said that Hamas has repeatedly rejected proper proposals of peace.
