The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has targeted Congress MP Rahul Gandhi regarding this. BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari has questioned in a post on the social media platform X why Rahul Gandhi has not yet congratulated India for India’s stunning victory against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025.

Pradeep Bhandari wrote in a post on Monday morning, “Congress is against the national interest of India! On the one hand, Rahul Gandhi has not yet congratulated the Indian cricket team for the victory over Pakistan, on the other hand when Pakistan is completely surrounded, Congress leaders are talking about sportsmanship! Why Congress always supports Pakistan? Congress is Pakistan’s B-Tim.”
