Former President of Delhi University Students Union (DUSU), Raunak Khatri has received a ransom of Rs 5 crore. The threatening who threatened is describing himself as a notorious gangster Rohit Godara. Threatened message Raunak Khatri was sent from a foreign number on WhatsApp.
According to sources, the threatening person not only sent the message but also made several calls on WhatsApp. After which Raunak Khatri immediately informed the police.

Delhi Police has started investigation in view of the seriousness of the case. The police is trying to find out whether the threat has actually given by Rohit Godara or someone is trying to intimidate her name.
The investigating officer said that with the help of cyber cell, information about the location and IP address of that foreign number is being collected. Police say that such threats are often made to intimidate and demand money.

At present, the security of Raunak Khatri has been increased and the police have advised him to be vigilant. The investigation of the case is going on and the police have assured that the accused will be identified soon and strict action will be taken.
