Manali’s tourism is very dependent on Volvo buses. However, the road network in Kullu district was badly destroyed due to rain between 24 and 30 August. Four-five days ago, Chandigarh-Manali Fourlane was restored for large vehicles.
Good signs before winter tourism season
Subsequently, the state government also started sending its buses to various states. Now the movement of Volvo buses of outside states has started for Manali. The restoration of roads and reaching Manali before Winter Tourism is a good sign.
35% occupancy expected by weekend
Tourism traders are expecting good tourism business in the coming days. However, there is barely 15 percent of the occupancy. It is expected to reach 30 to 35 percent to this weekend to reach Volvo buses in Manali.
