Balakaur Singh further said – Sidhu’s dream was to climb the stairs of the assembly. Now we will climb the ladder of the assembly by settling the picture of Sidhu in the heart. He also said that the next battle is very big but we will fight this battle.
Singer Shubhdeep Mosewala contested from Congress in 2022 Balakaur Singh’s son Punjabi singer and Congress candidate Shubdeep Singh Sidhu Mouswala contested from Mansa in 2022 but had to face defeat.
Sidhu Mousewala was defeated by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Dr. Vijay Singla by a big margin of 63,323 votes. Doctor Vijay Singla received more than one lakh (100023) votes. At the same time, Sidhu got only 36700 votes.
Sidhu Mosewala joined the Congress party in 2021. At that time, Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu described him as an icon of youth. Sidhu Mousewala belongs to Moses village in Mansa district and his mother is the sarpanch of the village.
