An FIR has been registered in the case of a stampede during the election rally of actor Vijay on the night of 27 September in Karur, Tamil Nadu, in which 41 people were killed and around 80 people were injured. In the FIR, TVK Chief Vijay and three other leaders of his party have been held responsible for the incident.
