Swami Ramdev, the yoga guru and founder of Patanjali, emphasized the importance of fitness and health to youth and Gen-Z at Hall Aaj Tak Health Summit. He said that no one wants to be old and the youth need power yoga and anti-aging yoga. Ramdev told that he is going to be 60, but his fitness and stamina is similar to 25-30 years old. He said, “If the structure, shape and productivity of the body is correct, then only 100 percent success can be achieved in the world.”
Swami Ramdev also expressed his opinion on becoming a business and yoga guru. He said that yoga is paramount for him. On the question of criticism on Patanjali, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also do yoga. Ramdev said that he is still working with energy like Gen-Z.
Swami Ramdev explained the importance of Ailom and Antonyms Yoga to maintain vision and efficiency in life. Swami Ramdev advised Gen-Z not to resort to any kind of medicine, injection or fat-corns to lose weight. He says that weight can also be controlled with long breaths and a balanced diet.
Ramdev also shared that Union Ministers Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari have lost 40-45 kg through fasting and diet control. He said that he himself works for 18 hours and does not feel tired. Swami Ramdev, while taking a sarcasm at critics, said, “Those who are afraid of yoga, Ayurveda and India’s Utkarsh, they abuse me. I don’t mind clapping or abuse.”
Ramdev also said in his message that it is very important to maintain strength, fitness and mental clarity in life. He believes that by regular practice of yoga and Ayurveda, a person remains physically physically but also mentally healthy.
