Why is Rao Narendra for the state president?
- OBC vote bank eye: In the October 2024 assembly elections, OBC voters were treated towards BJP. The BJP made OBC Naib Saini the face of the election. The Congress is also trying to help the assembly elections to be held in Bihar this year through Rao Narendra.
- Ahirwal commanded after 53 years: The Congress has been continuously losing elections in Ahirwal since Rao Indrajit left the Congress in 2014 and joined the BJP. This time too, only 1 out of 12 seats won. This is a chance after 53 years when the Congress has given the command of the state to a leader of Ahirwal. Prior to this, Rao Nihal Singh was the state president of Congress from 1972 to 77.
- Did not appear with any one group: One of the reasons for Rao Narendra’s name is that he has never been associated with any faction. According to sources, there was no objection in his name by any group. Apart from this, an attempt was also made to give a message that factionalism has been sidelined to choose the face of the state president.
