India Today Group organized the State of State Bihar Bihar First Program on Monday by Director General of Police (DGP) Vinay Kumar and Bihar Police Special Task Force i.e. STF ADG Kundan Krishnan attended. The rate of crime in Bihar is less than national average, but the perception has not changed. On this question about this, the DGP said that there were more kidnapping cases in Bihar, it has been controlled to a great extent. He said that something is happening now, they are being revealed in three to six hours. Earlier, two thousand robbery cases were annually, which is now only hundred or two hundred.
He has also made a lot of achievements in the field of Naxalism. The casualty of the police is zero. Bihar DGP said that those who are former Naxalites are also being arrested. He said that old landmines are also being identified. He said that we are monitoring in six districts adjacent to Jharkhand, although no incident is happening here.
Bihar DGP said that the incidents of murder used to live around five thousand annually, it is now around 2500 annually. The crime rate is very low. He said that we are taking every crime with great sensitivity, making a lot of efforts to catch criminals. He said that we have started trials in all the famous scandals this year.
Bihar DGP counted the case from Ara’s Tanishq showroom robbery to Jeeva Jewelers robbery and Gopal Khemka murder case and said that the trial has started in all of them. He said that we have punished in a record time in the case of rape with a 12 -year -old teenager. Bihar DGP said that the scenario has changed in the figures. Yes, the tendency of crime has changed.
Vinay Kumar said that CID is monitoring important cases. CID is monitoring cases in every district and the charge sheet is being filed on time and punishment is also being done. He counted some cases examples. Vinay Kumar, while mentioning the Gopal Khemka Mrder case, said that it was a famous scandal. It seemed as if Bihar was shaken. In the case of robbery in Tanishq’s showroom, we recovered the entire goods of the robbery. We caught more than two dozen criminals not only from Bihar and other states in these cases.
STF’s ADG counted the punishment for criminals
Referring to the circumstances of the time of STF formation, ADG Kundan Krishnan of Bihar STF said that the purpose was to fight Naxalism. We have been successful in this and now it has been reduced to just six districts. He also counted the statistics of the sentence done by the STF from the kidnapping to the armed gang, and said that we have all the figures.
