There are two types of fatty liver. According to Britain’s health agency NHS, swelling of the feet is also a sign of fatty liver which is necessary to identify in time.
This is a condition in which your feet are swollen which is called Pedal Edema. If there is swelling in your feet, then you should not ignore it by standing for a long time, swelling due to more than normal, or something else.
To identify this disease, press the skin of where you are swollen for several seconds. If a pit becomes a pit even after removing the finger or it remains a pit for a long time, then it is a sign of Pitting Edema. This is due to the accumulation of liquids in the body.
Pedal edema means inflamed area produced from fluid in the legs and ankles, while the peating edema is from the type of inflammation that remains even after pressure.
As soon as you see the symptoms, get it treated immediately
Pedal edema (swelling in the legs) may be an initial warning of liver damage. Therefore, this sign should not be ignored. Due to early detection of this disease and timely treatment, both your liver and your life can be safe.
